As the Head of CRE Lending for the Bank, Jason has expertise in a variety of different Commercial Real Estate Asset Classes, to include office, retail, multi-family, industrial, mixed-use, and hospitality. In addition, he has a niche expertise in residential acquisition, land development, and builder finance, having provided financing for a number of residential development projects throughout the state while working with a number of the top local builders in Richmond, Fredericksburg, and Hampton Roads.
Jason earned his Bachelors degree in Business and Economics from Randolph Macon College located in Ashland Virginia. Later, he earned his MBA, with a concentration in Finance, from the University of Richmond. Jason's 20+ years in banking have been comprised of numerous roles, to include Retail Banking, Small Business Banking, a Senior Credit Officer, and a Commercial Lender. These different roles, specifically his time spent as a Senior Credit Officer, allows him to serve his clients in a consultative capacity, finding solutions that work for all parties to enable both the Bank and the client to share in the success of a completed and finished Project.
Jason is a father to two wonderful boys, and his weekends are typically occupied with taking them to different activities that they are involved with. He is involved in a variety of CRE organizations and have been invited as a guest lecturer the past couple of years at the University of Richmond School of Law where he has served as a subject matter expert on a variety of different CRE topics.
