Meet Our Team - Detail

Seth started his banking career in 2003 with a local bank in Staunton, Virginia. The knowledge gained from the seasoned professionals would prove to be vital to Seth’s banking development and career. His networking and hard work would propel him to a Chief Lending Officer role with another local institution in 2016. During this time, he did all types of lending from small personal loans to multi-million-dollar commercial projects, and he would also create the Bank’s mortgage lending department with access to 30-year fixed rate mortgages! With his community banking background, Seth has experience as a front-line employee, back-office operations, branch manager, credit underwriter, consumer and commercial lender, and Senior Management.  With over 20 years of community banking experience, Seth has always preferred personal interactions when it comes to finance.  

Seth graduated from The Virginia Bankers School of Bank Management held at the University of Virginia Darden School of Business in 2009 and would then graduate from the American Bankers Association Stonier Graduate School of Banking held at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania in 2014.

Seth enjoys spending time with my family the most, which includes family projects in the garage or wood shop, whether it’s creating something new or simply fixing something that one of their three dogs decided to make their personal chew toy. There’s rarely a dull moment in the Bokelman household!
